Some of the most successful up-and-coming freestyle athletes from across the country came together this past week for the Young Guns Camp at the Utah Olympic Park. The camp was a culmination of water ramping, trampoline training, strength and conditioning and nutrition classes.

Some of the top freestyle athletes included Thomas Rowley who was Junior Worlds Champion in Dual Moguls. Kaitlyn Harrell, who earned a silver and bronze medal at Junior Worlds and Anna Park, 2012 Junior Worlds Silver Medalist.

The young guns were coached by U.S. National team athletes who included Heather McPhie (Bozeman, MT), Eliza Outtrim (Hamden, CT), Mikaela Matthews (Frisco, CO), Brad Wilson (Butte, MT), Bryon Wilson (Butte, MT), Sho Kashima (South Lake Tahoe, CA) and Joe Discoe (Telluride, CO).

Camp athletes were selected after they all earned top results at Junior Nationals and climbed to the top of the National Points List. Past Young Guns athletes include Bruce Perry Jr. and Keaton McCargo who both qualified for the U.S. Freestyle Team this season.
