The National Performance Series brings together the best U19 athletes from across the country at multiple times throughout the winter to compete in a head-to-head training and racing environment. The U16 NPS is new this year and designed for both genders. The first project will take place in Colorado, in conjunction with the Beaver Creek Birds of Prey World Cup races, providing our best U16 athletes with a first-hand view of World Cup action and an opportunity to train afterward on a world-class venue. The second project will take place on the east coast at Burke Mountain. Results from the two projects will determine the team of 12 athletes who will be selected to compete in the Seven Nations Cup in Saalfelden/Hinterreit, AUT from Feb. 14-16, 2017. Those same 12 athletes will also be invited to participate in a training project during the Squaw Valley World Cup in March and they will be automatics to the U16 Nationals in Sugarloaf, ME.
