The Bromley Outing Club (BOC) in Peru, VT is currently seeking a head U12 alpine race coach for the 2016/17 winter season.

  •    We are looking for a Candidate with prior racing and coaching experience.  Candidates should hold a USSA coaching license and race official credentials, or show the ability to get those credentials by fall of 2016.  Candidates should have good communication and strong leadership skills.  

•    Coach responsibilities include mentoring athlete development, coordinating training and racing schedules, communicating with athletes and parents, and leading and overseeing the assistant U12 coaches.

Gould Academy, ME is seeking a Head Alpine FIS Coach.  This is a full-time position and responsible for the planning and delivery of the annual training and race plans for the Academy’s FIS level athletes.  The Head FIS Coach reports directly to the On Snow Program Director. Middlebury Ski Club (VT) Alpine Program Director/Head Coach: The Middlebury Ski Club is seeking an experienced coach to lead our U8 - U16 winter alpine racing and mountain teams. This hands-on position requires both on-hill coaching duties as well as off-hill administrative responsibilities for overseeing a small staff of coaches and planning and monitoring all training for junior racers and our mountain team (non-racing program.) Loveland Ski Club (LSC), Colorado is seeking qualified applicants to join our Junior Team coaching staff for the 2016-2017 season.  This is a nine-month, full-time position for a career minded coach looking to become part of Loveland Ski Club’s rapidly growing program. With a growing demand from all skiers to have access to greater ski volume and greater quality ski volume the southern hemisphere summer break provides Australian athletes the perfect opportunity to extend their training program. Peak Ski Racing Academy is running an exciting academy for athletes that are seeking Northern Hemisphere race training, race entry and housing to compliment their southern hemisphere programs here in the beautiful and highly resourced Park City. These athletes range from U10's although concentrate in the U12's and U14's with some U16's. All athletes will come from race programs and will have a written skills and training focus report. These kids need a coach that can be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the athletes, responsibilities include: coordination, designing and overseeing all activities involved in the training, travel, equipping, video analysis and competition. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in alpine ski racing and coaching, USSA and or PSIA certifications, ample leadership and communication skills with flexibility to possibly travel throughout the season.

Windells Academy- Head Snowboard and Freeski Coach

Windells Academy is committed to changing the lives of amazing young people through academics, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and unique life experiences.  The Head Snowboard Coach and the Head Freeski Coach will be responsible for running exceptional training programs that provide opportunities for athletes of all levels to exceed their goals and expectations.  The successful candidates will work alongside Academy President Chris Hargrave and newly appointed Director of Performance Bud Keene to develop and implement training and competition focuses and schedules for their respective Academy programs. They will work with student/athletes as a coach and mentor.  They are responsible for the development of our student’s character, setting and measuring student goals, supporting students academically when needed, traveling the world while caring for our athletes, and collaborating with our team to build something special through this program.  We are looking for coaches with at least 2 years of leadership/coaching experience in a similar program, proven results with athletes, appropriate certifications from such organizations as AASI / PSIA / USASA/ USSA, the ability to recruit new athletes, and the organizational skills needed to manage a travel budget. They will need to have at least a high school diploma while college experience is a plus.
