UNIVERSAL CITY, CA (Aug. 13) – Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Alpine Ski Team alum Picabo Street will star in the new television series “Stars Earn Stripes,” premiering tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The emotionally charged competition show honors America’s armed forces as competitors gather at a remote training facility where they will tackle complicated and difficult missions that are inspired by military exercises. In addition to Street, the all star cast includes four-time undefeated world boxing champion Laila Ali, actor Dean Cain, actor and former National Football League player Terry Crews, multi-platinum recording artist, actor, producer and television personality Nick Lachey, Alaska businessman Todd Palin, “The Biggest Loser” trainer Dolvett Quince and WWE wrestler Eve Torres.

Street is the 1998 Olympic super G champion and 1994 downhill silver medalist. She also has three World Championship medals and two Audi FIS Alpine World Cup downhill titles (1995, 1996)

The series will be hosted by General Wesley Clark (ret.) – the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe for NATO and former presidential candidate – and television personality Samantha Harris (“Entertainment Tonight,” “Dancing with the Stars”).
