Returning to his first World Cup of the season, Todd Lodwick set the pace for the USA finishing 23rd in Ramsau.
RAMSAU, Austria (Dec. 11) - Olympic medalist Todd Lodwick (Steamboat Springs, CO) returned to the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup this weekend, finishing 23rd on Sunday. Lodwick, who was 23rd on the jump, had the 27th fastest cross country time and held his position. Billy Demong (Vermontville, NY) moved up to finish 26th. Defending World Cup champion Jason Lamy Chappuis of France won in a close battle with Norway's Magnus Krog. The circuit now heads to Seefeld, Austria for a team sprint plus two individual events this weekend.
Both Todd Lodwick and Billy Demong finished in the points, with Bryan Fletcher just outside in 31st.
The win moved Lamy Chappuis into the World Cup lead over Tino Edelmann
