OSLO, Norway (March 10) - Kris Freeman (Andover, NH) skied a strong race Saturday to finish 22nd in a 50k classic mass start at Holmenkollen in Oslo. Freeman was just 24 seconds behind winner Eldar Roenning of Norway's 2:32:27.1 over the challenging Holmenkollen course.
HIGHLIGHTS Kris Freeman (Andover, NH) skied to 22nd in the 50k classic World Cup at Holmenkollen. It was one spot behind his career best at the distance, a 21st from Holmenkollen in 2007. The women ski a 30k classic on Sunday before the tour heads to Stockholm and Falun, Sweden for a mini-tour finale.
