B. Fletcher Just Shy of COC Podium

KUUSAMO, Finland (March 13) – Bryan Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) led the U.S. in the Nordic combined Continental Cup Saturday in Kuusamo. Fletcher finished just shy of the podium in fourth. Norway’s Ole Martin Storlien won the race.

Storlien set the pace, followed by Germany’s Christian Beetz in second and Austria’s Carlos Kammerlander in third. Fletcher was a mere seven-hundredths out of third place.

Fletcher was one of three Steamboat Springs, CO natives competing in the race. Alexander Miller (Steamboat Springs, CO) finished 20th and Taylor Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) in 27th.

Kuusamo is scheduled to host another Nordic combined race on Sunday.
