The Audi Ski Challenge is a ski racing competition that brings together local ski racing fans in support of Audi and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association. Each event is held at a domestic U.S. Ski Team event and is open to the public. The top two winners from each stop will win an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime trip to race with the U.S. Ski Team at the U.S. Alpine Championships.

Rules:

All Audi Ski Challenges are a Giant Slalom race with each competitor racing both the red and blue course. The overall winner will be determined from the best time of his/her best run.

The two winners (one male and one female) will be determined from the best time from either course of his/her best run. The fastest female time and fastest male time will win the grand prize. The winners will be notified via phone or email and awarded their at the Audi display in the plaza at 1:30 p.m at the Audi tent. The winners must be present at the awards to receive details of their prize.

Rules for this event are subject to change.

Prizes:

Audi and the U.S. Ski Team will award the following prizes to the top two winners from Vail, Aspen, the Canyons, and Squaw Valley:

• Official 2012/13 Ski Team Jacket
• 3 night lodging at the U.S. Alpine Championships
• VIP experience provided by the U.S. Ski Team
  • VIP pass—Three days of skiing, access to all VIP functions
  • Including early lift access to ski with U.S. Ski Team athletes
  • Meet and greet with the 2012/13 U.S. Alpine Ski Team
  • VIP gift bag

Registration and Check In:

A $40 dicounted lift ticket is available to all who register for the race.

On-site registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to12:45 p.m. on Sunday in the plaza. 

All events are open and free to the public. However, each race will have a maximum of only 150 competitors.

• Bibs and helmets are required on all race days
• This is a skiing only event
• Please note that the majority of these events are held early season. All events are subject to changes because of lack of snow. Please stay tuned to for changes
