Black Mountain Alpine Ski Team, Jackson, NH - We are seeking two experienced Alpine coaches to join our coaching staff for the 2014-2015 season and beyond for the U12 thru U16 race programs. The Black Mountain Alpine Ski Team is a progressive program which has grown over 110% in the last season. Black Mountain Alpine Ski Team is committed to providing each athlete the skills and fundamentals needed to reach each individual's potential. Our goal is to have each athlete develop a lifelong passion for skiing. Our program is in line with the initiatives of USSA and Skills Quest. Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club
The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club (“SSWSC”) is seeking applicants for the position of Freestyle Program Director. This is a full-time, year round position eligible for benefits with the SSWSC. The SSWSC, located in the heart of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, trains almost 1,000 athletes and is one of the largest and oldest winter sports clubs in North America, with 100 years of history. The Discovery Ski Education Foundation (DSEF), a member club of the USSA Northern Division, is currently accepting resumes for the Race Coach Position.
Prefer candidates with prior racing and coaching U8-U16 experience. Candidates should hold a USSA coaching license and race official credentials, or show the ability to get those credentials by fall of 2014. Candidates should have good communication and strong leadership skills.
Coach responsibilities include mentoring athlete development, coordinating training and racing schedules, communicating with athletes and parents, and leading, administering and building the race programs.
Candidates must also be willing to travel.
DSEF has a long history of developing junior athletes that successfully compete at the divisional and regional levels. The race and learn to race programs has approximately U8 – U16 athletes with a strong parent and volunteer support base.
