Mount Snow, VT Training Center as a coach for our young athletes in our Competition Programs. We are currently seeking certified and qualified coaches for our Alpine Racing, Freestyle and Snowboard programs. Successful applicants should have coaching or competitive experience. Certification through USSA, USASA or PSIA will be considered and favored for employment. All coaches hired will need to attain certification as a requirement for continued employment. Additional experience teaching the fundamentals of skiing and/or snowboarding is a plus. Some regional travel is required.

The Okemo Mountain Competition Center, VT is seeking weekend alpine ski racing coaches for all age groups for the 2016-17 winter season.  Additionally, the Okemo Mountain Competition Center is seeking a moguls coach available weekends and holidays December 2016 through early April 2017.

 Applicants for either position should be enthusiastic team players with excellent communication skills looking to work with one of the country’s largest youth ski competition programs. Prior coaching and/or competitive experience is a must, as well as the flexibility to travel to state, regional, and national level competitions.  Coaches will be required to hold a USSA license which includes satisfactory completion of a background check.

Team Summit Colorado (TSC), based in Summit County, Colorado is searching for candidates for Executive Director to lead us through the next chapters of our evolution. TSC incorporates programs in Alpine, Freeski, Freestyle and Snowboarding, and currently consists of nearly 500 athletes along with a staff of 100. We operate on four mountains – Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge Resort, Copper Mountain and Keystone Resort, and have year round operations consisting of on snow programming, off snow programming, mountain biking and summer camp operations. We are currently a USSA Silver Certified Podium Club and are Summit Counties premiere competitive program seeking an innovative Executive Director to continue our World Class vision.

We are a youth development organization that implements a platform of competitive mountain sports to advance our mission of empowering our athletes to realize and celebrate their personal podiums through athletics, education, and life skills by participating in innovative programming at our world class venues.  We focus on elevating youth through our core values.

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic, financial and operational responsibilities of TSC’s staff, programs, growth, and execution of its mission.  He/ she must be unequivocally committed to promoting and adhering to TSC’s mission.  All candidates should have a proven and demonstrable experience with leadership, non-profit management, financial acumen, human resources, and relationship management.  Other qualifications include:

●       Extensive work experience in the action sports industry, with winter sports focus preferred;
●       A track record of effectively leading an outcomes-based organization and staff;
●       Commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation;
●       Organizational management experience, with the ability to mentor staff, develop and manage high-performance teams, and develop and manage an annual budget;
●       Proven success working with a board of directors, including implementing and achieving strategic objectives, and the ability to cultivate board member relationships;
●       Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders;

●       Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and an innovative approach to business implementation;
●       The ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people; and

Ausblick Ski Race Team – racing out of Sussex, Wisconsin is seeking alpine race coaches for its U8-U19 alpine racing program for the 2016-2017 season.  This seasonal position runs from mid-December through mid-March, 2-3 days per week (training occurs 3 days a week with a holiday camp in late December).  There is flexibility regarding individual coaching schedules depending on individual availability.  Ausblick athletes compete in the local WJR (Wisconsin Junior Racing) race league and at USSA events.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB VAIL, CO is looking for a part time Alpine Coach to assist in the U10 Age Class Program. This is a seasonal commitment of 2 full days/week plus 2 half days/week, along with some extra days over the holidays.  The days are Wednesday and Friday afternoons and all day Saturday and Sunday. Their is a small amount of travel to a few away races but it is minimal.  The season runs from November 19, 2016 - April 23, 2017 but the start date would be before the first day on snow. USSA and PSIA certifications are preferred but not required.

Team Summit Colorado is seeking a Head Coach for its children's intro programs.  Team Summit has one of the most robust youth development programs in the state and is seeking a candidate interested in nurturing a learning environment that is current, organized, comprehensive, and fun. This position would be required administer content and staffing for our programs running at Copper, Breck, Keystone and A-Basin.  PSIA and USSA certs highly preferred.  Electronic and person to person communication skills along with organizational competence is a must.

The Brighton Ski Team, of Utah is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of a U12 Coach for the 2016-2017 season. This is a Saturday, Sunday,Tuesday night and Thursday night position as well as a mid week camp over the Christmas Holidays. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, on the hill training and attending races. The position will last from late November and end middle of March. Casper Mountain Biathlon Club (Casper, Wyoming USSA Club)  is seeking a Full Time Nordic Coach for the 2016/2017 Season.
Contract/Seasonal Position   The position could start as early as Nov 20 and go through Mid April.
Casper WY is home to over 50 km of amazing trails and a newly constructed Nordic and Biathlon Training & Competition Center.  CMBC is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to coach and/or lead growing U8 - U20 programs, Nordic Rocks Elementary programs and Paralympic/Adaptive programs.
-Advanced Skiing and competition experience required.
-Adaptive experience not required, but a willingness to learn is a must.
-Biathlon experience not required.

The Stanford Ski and Snowboard Team, CA is seeking a Head Ski Racing Coach for the 2016-2017 season. In short, responsibilities are 1) coaching gate training and at races during late December, January, and February and 2) If the team qualifies for Nationals, preferred (but not required) to be able to go with the team to Bend OR, March 5-11th, 2017. Compensation (negotiable and not final is a season pass to Squaw and Alpine and $1000 stipend.
