      BIOGRAPHY
Brown got his U.S. Ski Team career off to a great start in 2010 by winning two NorAm competitions and earning his first World Cup start where he finished 23rd. Two more NorAm top-five results gave him the overall title. After finishing fourth at the Olympic Trials, he then made another great stride, landing on the podium with the bronze medal at the 2010 U.S. National Championships.

At his first World Championships in 2011, Brown led all American men in 12th place.

In 2012, Brown returned to the top of the NorAm rankings, taking the overall title with four victories. He also secured his first World Cup top-10 result at his first European World Cup with an eighth-place result in Myrkdalen-Voss, Norway.

      NEVIN SAYS
I think the drive to be the best at something is what keeps me going as well as the satisfaction of landing awesome jumps in competitions and producing better results than I have before.

My highlights from 2012 are winning the NorAm Tour and talking 8th in a World Cup in Norway.

Road blocks can happen, but you need to work hard through them and good things can happen.

      FIRST TRACKS
Brown got his start in aerials at the Mont Chalet Freestyle Aerial Training Center in Chesterland, OH, where he learned under the tutelage of coach Bill Harris.

      OFF THE SNOW
Brown loves to travel, help out in nursing homes and cliff diving. “I also like to ride anything with a motor… fast,” he says. “If it is extreme, I am willing to try it."
