Gulini first started riding at Snowbird, UT when she was nine years old. She didn't wait long before taking to the course, however, racing in her first SBX event at age 10 in Jackson Hole, WY. Five years later Gulini moved to Vail, CO to pursue her dream. Gulini's ascent to success in SBX was then swift, as she landed the results she needed for a spot on the 2010 Olympic team.
Gulini was back in 2011, riding well enough to take a spot on her first World Championships team in both snowboardcross and slopestyle. Add to that a top 10 at the Winter X Games and a third at U.S. Champs, and Gulini is, without a doubt, a key influence in the future of her sport. Coming back after a knee injury in 2012, Gulini soared into second at the Canyons Resort Sprint U.S. Grand Prix.
Competing in six World Cup’s in 2013 and taking the U.S. title at the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix at Canyons kept Gulini busy. She was able to qualify and place within the top eight at the FIS World Cup at the Olympic venue in Sochi, Russia. To top it off Gulini moved up from the U.S. Snowboarding B Team to the A Team. The only place to go from here is up!
