Support Your Athlete

Being a ski racer can create a unique sense of identity for athletes. Lifelong friendships are formed as they experience success and defeat together, gain independence and valuable life skills.  As young athletes start out on this path, parents play an invaluable role in helping them to take care of themselves physically and emotionally to better cope with the ever-increasing demands the sport will place on them.  Staying healthy and keeping up with school are key areas to succeeding. USSA clubs depend on volunteer help, and this is a good way to not only support your child, but also to get first hand experience of what it is he or she loves so much.
